Summary

On Troomi's website, a banner regarding cookie preferences will appear at the bottom of the page. The user has the option to select 'Accept'. If they do not click 'Accept', they will be opted out of all non-necessary cookies

How to View or Change Cookie Consent Preferences

1. Click the 'privacy policy' link in the cookies banner.

2. In the Privacy Policy page, section 6 is called 'Cookies and Similar Technologies'. Click the 'Cookie Policy' link, which will open up the Cookie Policy page: https://troomi.com/cookie-policy/ 



If consent was provided (by clicking 'Accept'), the Cookie Policy page displays the current state as 'Allow all.' and the date consent was provided.

  • From here, there are two options:
    • Change your consent – This reopens the original cookie preference banner, allowing the user to reset their opt-in preference.
    • Withdraw your consent – This immediately opts the user out of all non-necessary cookies.


Preference updates are effective immediately.


If consent was denied (by NOT clicking 'Accept'), the user may still notice the Cookies banner at the bottom of the page. To remove this banner while still denying cookies, follow the below steps:

  • In the Cookie Policy page, the current state will say 'Deny.'
  •  Clicking 'Change your consent' prompts the Cookies banner to appear when it is not already visible. Since the banner is already visible, click 'Accept'.
  • This will prompt the banner to disappear.
  • Click 'Withdraw your consent'.
  • The current state is 'Deny', and the Cookies banner is no longer displayed at the bottom of the page. As mentioned previously, this can be changed at any time.
