Do I have to activate the phone at the time of purchase? 


The phone is activated and provided with a phone number at the time of purchase. You will only need to finish onboarding the phone by going to the Parent Portal.


What about billing? If I wait to finish onboarding my phone, will I still get charged? 


Recurring billing will start the 1st of the month following the date of purchase and is prorated based on the date the order is placed. 


I paid an activation fee when I purchased. Will I get charged another when I finish onboarding? 


No. The one-time activation fee is charged at the time of purchase. Your next bill will be the 1st of the month following the date of purchase and will include the monthly plan, and the warranty (if applicable).


What if I damage the phone before I complete onboarding? Does the warranty still apply?


Yes. If you purchase the warranty, your phone will be covered from the date of purchase. 


I delayed onboarding the phone and it's having trouble. What do I do? 


Because Troomi phones check for updates every day, you may have missed a few updates due to the delay. This may cause some startup issues. For this reason, we recommend you don't wait too long to onboard your phone. However, our support team is here to help!
