Summary
This article acts as a guide for setting up Android Auto, which is an app that projects the device's features onto the car's display screen (if the car/display screen is compatible).
Installing Android Auto on the Device
Install Android Auto from the App Store Section of the Parent Portal. Go to the Troomi App Store app on the device and select Android Auto. Click 'Manage App through Google.
There will then be the option to select 'Update'. If you also see the option to click 'Install,' be sure to click 'Update' instead. The app itself will not show up on the phone, but it will be in the background.
Enabling Android Auto on the Car
Plug the phone into the car and hit 'Always Enable' (NOT Enable Once).
On the phone, hit Continue.
The below screen should pop up next. If not, manually go to the Notification Access screen (Settings > Apps > Three vertical dots on the top-right corner > Special Access > Notification Access > Toggle Android Auto ON).
From there, the car screen should update, and you should be all set!
