UTC Time
Coordinated Universal Time or UTC is the primary time standard by which the world regulates clocks and time. It is within about one second of mean solar time at 0° longitude and is not adjusted for daylight saving time. It is effectively a successor to Greenwich Mean Time.
Local Time
Local time is the time at a certain location. It can change if the location observes Daylight Saving Time (DST)
How does this affect my Troomi phone?
In most cases times are shown as Local time. However, you may occasionally see times that do not make sense because they are 6 or 7 hours OFF - you may encounter this on a report (like a text or call log). If you see this symptom, the time is probably represented in UTC time instead of local time.
