Yep! You can set different time frames for different apps and functions at the same time. For example, make texting available from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Spotify Kids available from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and the KidSmart Browser available from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
You can set different time frames for weekdays vs. weekends for any app or function. Currently, this feature must be set on an app-by-app or feature-by-feature basis and must be repeated for each line on your account, if you have more than one.
We have plans to create a one-stop solution to set the same time schedule for all apps and features as well as add the ability to set a limit based on the amount of time an app has been used rather than restricting the app usage based on the time of day.
- Locate the app or feature in the Parent Portal you wish to manage.
- If it can be time-managed, you'll see a section labeled Time Scheduler.
- Under Time Scheduler, toggle Enable weekday schedule ON
- Drag the bars for the start and end times.
Note: The intervals highlighted in purple are when the app or feature is available to use.
- To add an additional time window, select Add Usage Interval and set the start and end time.
- To remove a time interval, tap on it to delete it.
Note: You can't delete the interval if you only have one.
- Repeat the same steps to set a weekend schedule.
- Toggle Enable weekday schedule OFF to disable it.
- Repeat the same process for any other app or feature you want to manage.
