There is a way in the Dialer app to change which of the tabs show up first when you open the app. Please follow these steps:
Open the Dialer app
Tap the white three dots in the upper right corner
Tap on the Settings option
Tap on the "Tab to open at app start"
Choose between the five options
Once completed, please close out the app by tapping the three vertical line button icon at the bottom of the screen (Overview button). Swipe up on the Dialer app to close it. Upon opening the Dialer app, the option you chose should be the first to open.
