How to Make the Parent Portal an App


A step-by-step guide to adding the Parent Portal to your phone’s home screen.


While we don’t have an app for the Parent Portal quite yet, we have a simple solution that’ll make managing your child’s phone functionality easy peasy lemon squeezy!


Instead of opening up an internet browser, searching for our website, and so on and so forth, every single time, you can create an app-like icon (or shortcut) and stick it to your home screen. Our expectation is you'll still have to enter your credentials, but the Parent Portal will immediately be at your fingertips. Cool, huh?

  • Open Safari
  • Go to Parent.Troomi.com
  • Tap the "Share" icon
  • Select "Add to Hone Screen"
  • Name your new icon
  • Tap "Add"
